I am sure that the board will know that part very well, the risk that they will run, and they would make sure that they wouldn't get caught out in that.

As for shares being illiquid. LOL my friend, have a look around yourself and tell me how many companies are in the illiquid position with the BOTS out in full swing, and with the blessings of the ASX of course.

The other day I put an order to buy shares in PLV and you wouldn't believe what I had to go through to get them. Pages and pages of very minute trades and days and days to get my order filled.

And the same occurred with a buy order with CDU. Pages and pages of 1 and 2 share at the time, and days and days to get it filled, lol.

Isn't that what is called being illiquid, when one can't buy nor sell his shares if the needs arise ??

IMO, the Instos with the brokers and their BOTS are making sure that no one is liquid with their shares anymore.
