I am not exactly sure of how it works, but companies such as Apple have their weighting in the NASDAQ adjusted (as they are 1 of the bigger stocs on the NASDAQ).
Also, it was almost 6 mths ago where the smaller exchanges within the NASDAQ add or remove stocks from these different sub exchanges within the NASDAQ and from memory, I think that last happened on NOV 30/Dec 1 of last year, just like we have additions and removals of stocks from XAO, Top 200 etc. - I hope that makes sense. I am anticipating this any be a time where new companies get added to the NASDAQ, or removed.
I am just putting 2 and 2 together in terms of PRRs pending NASDAQ listing, but it is my opinion only. I just hope I am correct!!!!
