Operator Pan Orient opened the session strongly at $C7.39, declined progressively from that point, and closed down 4.17% at $C6.90. No new announcements. Little change in the oil price.
Step-out well WBEXT-2, targeting the deeper (WBV2) volcanic reservoir 1.4km NW of WBEXT-1, was planned to reach TD yesterday or today and to be tested if deemed appropriate.
(Nothing to do with the ongoing state of emergency in Bangkok or the contiued bombings there over the weekend. Maybe just a duff well or a high oil/water contact)
