Pogues, the FDA knock back was a real shock. Retisert received FDA approval despite it having greater safety issues. Fortunately for us, Alimera have been carrying all the risk, but not receiving the 25 mil milestone payment is a real shame. Getting illuvien FDA approval will now be very difficult. We'll have to wait and see what Alimera report back from their meeting with the FDA. Still hopeful of CE approval (but no milestone payment) Have you had a chance to listen to the 14/11 webcast? Paul was really quite shocked. I was fortunate that I wasn't holding any stock when the news came.
