I distinctly remember the comments directed at those who questioned the obscene valuations of the likes of ZIP, APT and everything BNPL.

Sadly, those who took most offence to an alternative viewpoint and attacked any bear case - likely still hold, sitting on significant losses - or refused to sell (when all you had to do is have BNPL in your title for the price to rise).

The amount of money made through trading BNPL stocks was life changing. I am sure.

But not everyone is a trader. For those that invested in the hype - they are now experiencing the effects of what happens when the mania subsides and everything growth, turns to show me the profit and the quality of the business.

There are plenty of pumpers on these forums. The very people that kept putting forward ludicrous price targets based on nothing at all. None more than you would have seen on the APT forum at its peak.

Hopefully its not too painful of a lesson for most.
