Mediation with El Paso re: transfer of 50%ownership of Sengkang...

    Mediation with El Paso re: transfer of 50%ownership of Sengkang Power Station from El Paso to EWC commenced today and needs to be finalised by Friday 24 March 06. I understand that EWC directors are in Sydney for these meetings. The results of this mediation will be heard by the Federal Court on Thursday 30 March 06.

    Independent consultants have submitted a report on suitable turbines for the 65MW extension to Sengkang to all parties.

    Most importantly, once these issues have been resolved, the extension can commence and EWC will have access to over $40 million, currently held in a Trust account.

    There is now some real basis for a strong upward trend in EWC shares.
