CPH would not be interested in involving themselves in this deal just to market rubies in the normal manner -it is a tough game and would not be worth their while -unless they have found a high grade gem bonanza -and that surely would have to be public knowledge. I suspect something more substantial where CPH will use their financial muscle to develop a sizable industry.
Packer does not always win -he expended through a company he controlled US$22 million on a big CIP plant in Mindanao some years back -only trouble there was no proven gold resource to put thru the mill !!

Only two reasons I can think of for CPH to be involved -new unannounced discovery or a bold move to establish a big manufacturing facility.
