Just to present an alternative scenario. What if the pre New Year so called 'accumulator/cappers' have had their fill and decided to 'let it run', thus giving them a tidy 2015 starter kit, by selling into their self created spike? Just sayin' .... next 5 or 6 trading days might tell. As an intending long term holder I try not to get too excited over these events. The real action may be some ways off yet.
