Only starting to research this one.

This company has $300m plus in the bank from the proceeds of sale from Cape Lambert to MCC.

The company also is working on the Cape Lamber tSouth project which should prove to be a profitable venture also.

What i dont understand is why they are bothering to sink money into Sierra Leone, one of the most corrupt and lawless countries on earth and a neighbourhood that is just as bad. Regardless of the quality of the resource. Why ?

I hope they intend to make better use of their cash in more stable areas in this depressed market. What and where are their likely targets ?
