Health Minister Ms Sanderson also revealed an investigation was under way after a woman who was suspected of having COVID and her child, who was confirmed positive, presented at Fiona Stanley Hospital on Saturday and were triaged incorrectly.
The pair spent a short time in the emergency department with others, who would now be tested as casual contacts.
“Further training will be undertaken to ensure all staff are aware of their obligations,” she said.
