As outlined in Lodestar’s ASX announcement dated 25 September 2019, this program represents stage one of drilling designed to evaluate the potential for high-grade gold in the vicinity of previous very high grade drilling results in holes LNRC026 and LND003 (4m at 78.1g/t Au from 140m, including 3m at 102.5g/t Au in LNRC026 and 5.1m at 28.1g/t Au from 143m, including 1m at 134g/t Au in LND003, see Lodestar’s ASX announcements dated 22 May 2018 and 9 October 2018). In addition, the program will test nearby supergene gold mineralisation in Contessa aircore drilling to scope the potential for a “starter” open-pit operation. Drill intersections reported from composite sampling of the supergene zone include 20m at 1.6g/t from 48m, 10m at 5.6g/t Au from 55m, 21m at 3.0g/t Au from 40m, 15m at 3.1g/t Au from 40m and 12m at 1.3g/t Au from 48m (see Lodestar’s ASX announcements dated 18 March 2013, 4 June 2013 and 15 July 2014).
