For a change Dean I share your current feelings of optimism. We are indeed better positioned for something good to happen than we have been for a long time. As always the challenge for GIP management is to make it happen and Gandel seems to be more likely than Jack ever was to finally turn the company into one that produces more than repetitious promises of progress. But just to put this into perspective think of where we were a decade ago. On 22 April 2003 GIP's last sale was at 0.055. Offered at 0.045 with a bid of 0.037. And there certainly weren't 1.5 billion shares floating about. Long term holders who didn't manage to trade some profits along the way will be lucky to get their money back. I share their pain. If I see 5 cents again I'll be relieved, but still out of pocket. We just have to hang on a bit longer - the ride's almost over.
