Yes when buying via a broker the settlement period ( 3 days settlement of buy )i couldn't set the stop out price at the same time as buying the SDL share.I Would have to set a stop after settlement date.
Also Example, You need to check youre stop say at 61.5 .The reason, the Closing price could be 62 cents and market Opening price 60.5 can change.( "after market close" share settlements )You could miss out on the sale.The share price could keep falling missing the stop at 61.5
Thats how I read this anyway. Any other better ideas?
I have adjusted the stop at 20 %
