Ok it looks like they didn't reaffirm guidance according to another article today ...

Now this is going to get interesting ... Either he was miss quoted in the Australian's last article, or he said it 'unofficially'. If he did say it, then I don't think it would be a mistake, and if they drop guidance soon then surely there would be trouble, and someone in his possition should know to avid that sort of trouble. I would like to think it was just a confidence slip, that things are not as negative as the previous weeks rumours would have indicated.
These just my thoughts, I would like to know some expert opinions though on what the legal consequences would be if he did or did not say it. Or if the Australian miss quoted him.
