It doesnt matter if the correction has been included or not. I am merely pointing out how large the correction is! It overshadows most other things.
Secondly my model is very basic but it encapsulates the core understanding. acceleration(t) can be a positive or negative number. Again feel free to leave out the acceleration if you don't like it. It still doesn't take away from the fact the observed acceleration is of the same magnitude as the correction.
I used to be on your side of the fence until I started doing my analysis on the data IPCC and cohort use. Keep going down this path. I have no more to add on this. The models are far from perfect.
