Forget all the calculations and permutations about what the current production from TUI is.......I have the answers.

[I have posted this over on the NZO page but it also has relevance here obviously and could be of interest to all]

Chris Roberts (NZOG Media person / information man) has supplied me with the following information and is happy to have it disseminated further.

    1. At present the maximum production level per day is about 18,000 barrels.
Now that is the maximum they are currently getting but obviously they have days where it is not possible for various reasons to achieve that.

2.Back in June 2007 the initial forecasts indicated that they would be getting about 10,000 barrels per day by now.
So TUI is obviously doing extremely well

    3. Even their revised forecasts in June 2008 (a year ago) they assumed a maximum production level per day a bit less than they are currently capable of.

4.During May their maximum output was at about 21,000 bopd but with weather issues etc the average for the month worked out at 16,500 bopd.

So weather, sea conditions and other technical details that need attending to do have an effect on the daily production despite what their best production rate might be able to achieve if all things are in alignment
