From the horses mouth...
AFR this morning, "Japan accounts for 12 per cent of global demand for uranium, but it's plans include the construction of NINE NEW NUCLEAR PLANTS by 2020 and AT LEAST 14 by 2030 in a bid to reduce carbon emissions" (my capitals).
An undeniable endorsement of nuclear technology as the ONLY viable option for Japan in it's fight to provide CLEAN ENERGY (at base load levels)...and indeed the ONLY (Clean) base load energy option for the world right now.
That's called DEMAND folks
