I disagree kingpins, three friends of mine all sold their own house with ease and got the price they wanted. One had a cash deposit the day after listing, the other 2 got more than they expected and saved heaps on agent fees and advertising.
If you prefer to deal with an agent then so be it, they are only being the middle man......it's not rocket science when it comes to selling a house.
At the end of the day property is only worth what someone is willing to pay agent or not.
