I've worked in the real estate industry for 25 years, not in sales. In my experience the vast majority of agents are good people. Yes they use sales tactics. What do you think vendors employ them for? To get the highest price! I've never seen a vendor complain about an an agent busting their balls, going above and beyond and getting a great result!
My dad had a large butchery. I worked there as well when I was younger. Some of the butchers were dicks. I worked in Kmart when I was younger too - some of my colleagues were sour old bitches. Every industry has them but because we see an agent driving and expensive car and making good coin we think they must be assholes. What you don't see is 6-7 days a week of work, long hours, sacrificing a social and family life in order to succeed.
And to see a property valuer having a crack! Give me a break Fezz.
