I don't know what Hong Konger's will contribute to property prices and economy in terms of GDP, but whatever it is, it probably won't come close to the GDP lost in a recession. Drop in the ocean. Jobkeeper I think only contributed 10 - 15% of lost GDP during covid, and Hong Konger's probably won't come close to contributing more than schemes like Jobkeeper.
