MMM, have purchased & sold our last 3 properties since 2003 without the need of a dodgy real estate agent, & completed the process's seamlessly due to the fact that the Agent does absolutely nothing, once contract of sale is handed over to the solicitors.
To pay an agent in excess of $15 $20 $30 thousand for the simple task of placing a signature on a sales contract is insane.
Also any rentals investment properties I have are management entirely by myself, still have issues from time to time, but at least there is opportunity to amicably sought them out without the troublesome input of a third party Real Estate property manager that only cares about one thing, that being his/her commission.
TICA, make the tenant screening process for private property owners much safer, that it used to be.
