Yeah the law really sucks when it comes to rental properties. If people are squatting then with no legal right to be there then they should be done for criminal tresspass if they won't leave nicely. What is even worse is if someone trashes your rental property under lease the police turn a blind eye to it and say it is a commercial matter and to goto your local tribunal - FFS if I came to your house and started trashing it I would be arrested for wilful destruction of property. Both situations should be handled the same - but they aren't so deadbeat tenants get a free ride and tarnish the name for all the good ones out there!
