just sold my house.heard of a local building inspector[biggest ad in the yellow] who is very disliked by the RE Agents to the point of telling buyers not to use him.
This of course appears to the Buyer as an endorsement but this Build Inspector is pulling the 'joke' of extremely negative reports particularly on renovator specials that break the sale contract so he the BI can come in a few days/weeks later with an even lower ball offer.. a variation on the RE agents technique.
Anyhow who came for my house sale inspection? Him Truly about 10days ago and he told me I had had no termite treatment since 2002 as a main issue. Rang the Agent and said the buyer can go whistle wanting price change for pest control and the going unconditional finance arranged is next week.
