They can afford to keep scratching. I think that's their deal, they have enough money to do it for a decade or two. Interest alone would cover substantial amounts of their exploration costs, based on past expenditure.

I guess it's a matter of waiting till they scratch the right one. Frustrating I agree. Having said that it has allowed them to choose their timing (with a bit of luck too). Red Hill was such a bonanza.
