Story does not surprise me, I would expect it to be one of the first "middle class" suburbs to start showing housing stress.

Kellyville is a suburb on the edge of Sydneys North West corridor, not where I would live. Denied good transport and services. I call the whole area around there La-La land, people who purchased with low deposits - cant afford to landscape and use bed sheets as blinds.

As for Sydney as a whole my expectation is that a substantial deficiency in the number of new houses being built will emerge in the Sydney market towards the end of this decade, making Sydney one of the leading price performers towards the end of this period as a very tight rental market buoys demand for residential property.
