I read a comment in "The Big Short" by Michael Lewis (great book by the way!) along the lines of ... buy real estate at 10 times yearly rental sell at 20 ....
housing was at 30 just before the GFC in many places in the US (so it said) ... I did some numbers on my sheet of paper and it sort of made sense to me .. buy at 10 sell at 20 annual rental ... ??
Any comments ?
