Perth property peaked in late 06.
Some areas are still growing albeit at slower rate but prices in many areas have stagnated and even dropped.
And SMSF have NOT been allowed to enter into new arrangements of buying property in unit trusts with the trust carrying the borrowings for about 5 years now and all existing structures must be sorted out by either the borrowings paid out or the fund getting out of the investment over the next few years.
