I live in Sydney's inner west, about 2/3 km from the city.
I am amazed at the number of places currently for sale in my area especially units, and most have been for sale for quite a while. For some reason most are only listed on domain.com.au and not in the newspapers.
I am planning to re-enter the market in the next 12-24 months but given the supply of units available further falls are inevitable - if I had to guess I'd say another 10-20% downside.
So be careful and remember to include all entry and exit costs when looking at price falls. The price falls quoted in the newspapers are actual sell prices and do not include all the fees which in NSW are big.
