Like I said, I feel your pain here mate as we all share it financially.
In response to the rest, I obviously don't know exactly what he said to you regarding payment but one would think that he was expecting payment from investors for some time afterwards as he tried to salvage the situation. It just didn't work out but I am sure goh had funds 'just around the corner' that he intended to pay the bills with. Payment to yourself and other partners would of sadly fell lower priority to keeping the lights on, including wages to the 100's of office employees. Revenue would have been flowing in from your efforts no doubt but with the bank accounts empty went out the door elsewhere.... It was a big expensive beast. All my assumptions of course.
My main point is though, that if he has succeeded in getting the platform funded elsewhere (and you have your invoices and emails), then you have at least a chance of getting some of those funds back. Which is a whole lot better than where we sat a year ago and I wrote it off!
