Normally announcements late on Friday (especially before a long weekend) only contain bad news. Havong experienced the recent dark days when it plunged to 26 cents I am stoked with this announcement.
(1) Significant earnings upgrade
(2) Covenants OK
(3) Asset sales progressing
(4) Wood chip volumes locked in
(5) Serious pilp mill discussions
(6) GNSPA distributions likely to be maintained.
The significantly strengthens Gunns abilit to do a deal on the pulp mill as they are not in a position of desperation.
