Andy Schmulow is the Australian Citizens Party (ACP) Senate candidate for New South Wales. In his interview, with ACP Research Director (and Senate candidate for Victoria) Robert Barwick, Andy shows example after example of how corruption works in Australia, right up to the big banks and Treasury.

its a 1hhr interview. Check out what real leaders could do in politics.

His reply to being asked why he is running as a candidate for the ACP captures the essence of what he’ll bring to Parliament if elected:

“It’s not ambition”, he declared. “It’s a combination of being pissed off, and cynical. You hear people saying, all the time: ‘Why doesn’t somebody do something?’ And I said to myself, ‘Dude, you’re somebody—why don’t you do something?’

“I emigrated to this country, and every single day I am grateful to have the opportunity to live in this country. I see bad things happening in this country, I see this country deteriorating, and somebody has got to stand up and do something about it.

“The bad things that are happening to this country, and the things that are going to affect people’s lives are not other people’s pronouns. And they are not whatever flag the prime minister stands in front of—whether it’s an Australian flag or an Aboriginal flag, it’s going to make no difference to your life.

“What is going to make a difference to your life is the fact we have two supermarkets, which are gouging you every time you go and buy food—and try living without food!

“We’ve got four banks that are the reason we have had no real wage increases in the last 15 years—not my opinion, that’s the Productivity Commission’s views.

“These entrenched interests, which are buying off our political parties—nobody stands up to them! And in the times I’ve had the opportunity to go before the Senate, I’m finding it’s not really that difficult. Like, all you have to do is take their arguments, turn it into a stick, and beat them. So that’s why I really want to do this.”
