the reason it's drifting is that the new government has thrown up few significant issues that would stimulate debate. The fact that so many posts focused on Howard and co was a symptom of this, at least that was a government that got people interested in what was going on. If this new government lives up to the expectations of many who post here we will see the electorate drift off into a slumber again. I think the next time we see this forum alive and kicking as it has been in the past, this current government will be on the skids.
