real reason for block outcome !, page-18

how about this.... (does it suggest that council were part of the game?)

"Prior to sale, the previous owner of the entire 31-43 Cameron Street ?block? obtained a permit which would have seen the four terraces demolished and replaced with a three-level, 16-unit residential complex with an underground car park.
However, recently lodged applications approved by council will see the four single-storey homes retained.
Three of the Cameron Street homes are single-fronted, and have been approved for a second-storey extension.

A fourth terrace is double-fronted, and has been approved only for a single-storey extension ? presumably a move to ?neutralise? any advantage this larger home (on a larger parcel of land) might have on the game?s outcome."
