Paul, the problem is this. We have been told that CO2 is a green house gas that traps heat and is causing the temperature of the world to increase. It is the only cause they propose, they admit no other cause.
However for the last 17 years there has been no measurable change in temperature despite a steady increase in CO2 levels in the atmosphere. That fact alone beats anything else, data kills theory every time in real science. They are now scrambling to try and explain that and have said it is all in the deep sea water, that is where the heat has gone. Proof of that is another matter. In the meantime the cry is it has been the hotest for 10 years on record to cover up the fact that data has killed their theory.
