no wonder the real tradies are in so much demand......
when they have plenty of clients like me, to keep feeding them work...
when they have to fix jobs after the newbie handyman has had a go, it is probably triple the time required to fix the problem ...
instead of it being a straight forward job for them...
my regular handyman is rather busy at the moment...
so I thought I could have a go at a couple of little tiny jobs myself....since I have so much time on my hands...
it would be easy peasy
all I can say, after 5 days, not only am I stuffed....both physically, and mentally....I have now vowed not to touch any more handyman jobs again..
plus my back aches, my arms ache, my head aches....
I have stuffed the floor job, and the fence job....
I have spent over $150 bucks on the wrong products....
and of course, now I will have to pay him, to undo all my work...before he can start from scrath again...
In the meantime, I have to live with my disasters...
while I wait for my tradie to find the time, to come and fix the problems...
3 cheers for the tradies....
I will sneak back into my hole...and do the things that I know, I can do....
the saying, at least I tried, will haunt me forever....
so we won't go there
cheers
