The technology sounds great, but I can see a few issues -
The majority of your IoT devices would have to have the ARDC chip, otherwise you are still using countless apps to control things, and if it's only adopted by 20% of IoT devices, then it's kinda pointless - and your phone has to support NFC to work in the first place.
Also the UI isn't controlled by the manufacturer of the IoT device - I want to know if there will be an API available for people to create their own ARDC apps?
I can see it being used on a small scale - say within the health industry - but can it really gain enough support to be used by the general public?
