An easy way to look at this might be this:
Akida has the potential use of 1.2 million neurons and 10 billion synapses; a small child has 86 billion neurons and 100 trillion synapses which are arranged in cortical columns. The brains ability to predict the next step in some sequence of steps is due to its arrangement in columns of the same structure - each column able to retain a previous step, allowing previous step remembering to make a prediction about the next step. This kind of capability would be needed to solve a jig saw puzzle. Akida (apart from being at the number of neurons and synapses of perhaps a bumble bee) does not currently have a column like architecture (that’s supposed to be around the corner in Akida 2.0) so it can’t predict the next step yet, so no chance of it solving a jig saw puzzle - even the smartest bees can’t solve jig saw puzzles
