It seems that this is the only thread where anyone will talk to you, so obviously this is where you prefer to hang out. I have visited your "other thread" quite a few times and I think most of the regulars know their stuff, however, there are one or two who just think they do.
Anyway it's an unfortunate position for a company to be in, but with all your valued support and understanding they may get over it. Maybe you should offer your services as a consultant.
