Timmo, Lynas RE's are processed in Malaysia, nothing's going to change, or hide, that for the immediate future.
A company that deals with it's problems and comes thru them strongly will gain infinitely more respect than one that tries to paper over them with a thinly veiled change of identity. To submerge the Lynas brand now would simply gift SMSL & HH a huge sense of victory, just as they seem to becoming largely irrelevant.
IMO you need to think forward thru successful execution over the next 12 months, and if that doesn't happen it really doesn't matter what you call it.
Whatever the result, Lynas is going to make a fascinating case study, particularly given the geopolitical backgrounds.
