Yes, the sale was to the BG Group PLC - I left out the "BG Group" part for some reason.
How is the valuation going? I tried to work it out then gave up. The valuation will be based on discoveries.
A couple of things:
HDR is Mauritania, no one is going to buy Woodside or ROC if they want in on the oil discoveries. ROC is Equatorial Guinea and to a lesser extent China.
The Citigroup review is interesting in that it is "intiating coverage". For those of us who have been HDR followers for some time this seems a little slow. But companies have to be a certain size before they appear on the radar of large research groups and fund managers. The HDR valuation has therefore changed recently.
