Media is a business - it is disgusting that they make money off this sensationalism. Some of the reporting that has been televised has been absolutely atrocious. The comments mae by the uneducated have been scare mongering and assumptive. This morning on Sunrise they interviewed an Australian young lady (that possibly had Japanaese heritage) and she was asked by the presenter what is the feeling there, what is the atmosphere like, peoples faces etc .. she replied essentially that she is frustrated by people telling her to leave and in a nutshell the sensationalism ... and that we should focus on charity etc ... Sunrise then ceased the interview and went to redcross appeal spill .. they were looking for sensationalism, didnt get it, reverted to charity ... you could just see the producer talking into the microphone in the presenters ear saying lets ditch this girl and move on!

I am of the understanding that new reactors will not meltdown.
As coca-cola said, there is no other alternative for this world other than the energy density found in uranium. Until someone comes up with something better I think BMN's 200+ million lbs should do well.
