Ok Adani has approvals but look at the facts here. Start with infrastructure;
1. The rail line from the mine to a proposed port will need to traverse several ravines . These will require bridges of the scope similar to Brisbanes gateway. That took three years to build in the heart of a major city. The ravines have no access at all and they will need at least four bridges
2. The port environmental conditions will never be complied with due to off shore anchoring. To move the amount of coal they are proposing they would require ten ships loading and 100 at anchor at any time.
Finance
The world banks have already said their green footprint will not back this project. The economics of the above coal would be $200 a tonne.
Any idiot can see Mongolian, Indonesian or African coal can be bought at a bargain.
