Yep, had a couple of bio-techs that never delivered. Lesson learnt - get to know the management team, their motivations, experience and skill set very well and still, there is always some risk. Best thing I ever did before investing in AVB was learn about Tony Polglase and Simon Mottram from those in the industry. Cost me a stack of beers and a few dollars in research but was/will be worth it. For mine, the day Colin Jones became Chair, I knew we'd be going mining some day soon and would no longer be some investment vehicle for a few 'players.'
