mrdin you say "why then must it be heated to 105c", personally I don't read it that way.
The 105C may simply be for expediency in the lab, this does not necessarily mean they MUST heat it to 105C, my clothes line is testiment to the fact that water will evaporate at temperatures well under 105C. The statement "But given that this can be synthesized using room temperature processes" stands on it's own.
