Proz, I have found from practical experience that it’s not the wisest thing to do to go into LICs at the initial float. No advice, but just from my practical experience with SEC and a couple of others, that I could have put them on a watch list, kept an eye on their holdings, and bought far cheaper than the float some time after. You have probably already decided that this is the best course of action in future ?
