you are right about what you are saying, you are right that Im not thinking about emissions...
And you are right that the future for the oil industry will change, and to position yourself in LNG, CSG...
that is what im doing after I sell some CUE, But not yet.....


at the end of the day...
There are many deciding factors to think through, not just emissions...
It comes down to fundamentals, for which the O and G is already discounted enough for what your saying to deter me from investing in oil...
a higher discount rate because this is risky stuff....

I remember 2-3 years ago a damaging report came out (from the IEA) about emmissions and on the Monday the Whole ASX oil and Gas sector tanked, (other sectors were up)... anyone remember that?... not one oiler was up that day, but it soon brushed over...at that point I realised my time in oil was limited... BUT, big restrictions on output, higher taxes (known as externalitiy taxes, as others are having to pay for something they do not directly cause), and a clamp down on the O and G sector is some time off, at that point I will have to find another class of investments...

In all respects these energy issues are above me, so im not going to try and talk through it like I know all about it...
Could I/we assume that production that came under laws at the time, would not be put under new future laws?

anyway, before MEO gets on the LNG Train (get it, hehehehe), MEO must have Reserves...
so heres hoping Artemis hits and we are all rich cats...

going back to what I was saying, the longer the market prices MEO so high, the better the signal is that Artemis will strike, as we dont know whats going on in that data room...
Perhaps some of those scoping it out our prospects are buying head shares, instead of drilling the prospect (with us)... and getting positioned like that...

who knows...

but this is either very much so overvalued, (as I have said for ages), or there is something we are not being told...
hummm....
now theres something to talk about...
