    you are quite right about that... I still really like that company, but as are most things in oil, time scales have far outweighed the market realising these assets...things have been changing fast over the years and I sold all my past stocks even the ones I liked cos I found better investments... But I did retain about 1% of my portfolio in that one purely because it was not worth selling, and it had lost so much value...so I bought into Shale gas with everything...

    I dont like to pop in so much because you think I'm here to rip your hearts out..

    you cant handle discussions where negative sentiments are tabled ... and because you cant see all the downsides when you are only looking and focused on the upside...
    just like alot of posters here...

    if anything MEO has been a strong research case, a good lesson, and unlike any oiler I have seen before... it will be remembered....
    I said it before, no oil company in aussie has commanded the deals and key placements, and funding that MEO was capable of...
    so there is some value in this company as a deal maker...
    but when it comes to the hard stuff... the money maker, it has had nothing...
