Eugenics is a very unfortunate lead from Darwinism.

Also racism was pretty common in his day. Cecil Rhodes and many others with a great deal of influence and of the same period were likewise racist.

But that does not in itself make the theory of evolution wrong, any more than atomic physics can be considered to be wrong because of the development of atomic bomb.

In any case, Darwin came up with the theory of evolution, but over a hundred years later I don't think that his records are considered to be the foremost source on the subject anymore. I think people in the field now know a heck of lot more than Darwin ever did.
