Thanks for finding the topic interesting.

I perceive there should be a need to distinguish or breakdown any sense of perception. The need comes from an interest to understand how things work and the determination behind it.The creative faculty can enable fine tuning of the sensory perceptions, though lots of effort is required the reward is worth it. When direction is established the difficulty and impediments follow and should be reasoned with. They ( senses ) do remain objects of the structural contents of it being , and are still capable of direction as the mind requires the use of the senses as a unity though independent as they may appear. So what should be done is quite simple, that is, eliminate the blur or fog and proceed but the elimination of the fog within needs lots of attention.
