LEG started 15.01.2011 with 1 diamond drilling rig (UNKNOWN MODEL)on a 5000m program

Information about drilling for iron ore:

1)Average drilling speed for diamond drilling rig 60m a day
2)usualy they take 2000 - 3000 samples
3)Average processing speed for lab testing is 120 samples a day


Timing:

I would estimate they are drilling pretty shallow (60m), as initial information they got from hand-held drilling rig - gives info from maximum 15m - 20m depth

If the average depth is 60m then 5000m/60m = 125 holes
With average speed 60m a day it would take 100 days

If they start 15.01.11 they will finish around 30.04.11

With lab speed mentioned above it would take 30 days. When company will recive results it will take around one week to process results. In total, its summs up as:

FINAL RESULTS: > 1/07/2011

I am very sorry if its not maching some ones expectations...I can be wrong, they could send first half samples to get initial results what would cut down to first results given around: NEXT WEEK


Its very speculative as noone knows how drilling is progressing, how rig keeps up with it...lots of unanswered questions...

Only thing which you need to keep in mind: if you think it will be fast ("DRILLING RESULTS SOON" (POSTED 15.01.11) then its not for you, and if you dont have an understanding of the process involved perhaps best not to post such misleading information.
